Giving Back on Heng Gang (初五)
At Legate, giving back to the community is more than just an initiative. It is a tradition we proudly uphold every year.
On 21 February 2026, in celebration of Heng Gang (the fifth day of the Lunar New Year), Legate team came together once again to spread joy and warmth through our annual charity event.
A Meaningful Heng Gang Tradition
In Chinese culture, Heng Gang (初五) symbolizes prosperity, renewal, and welcoming good fortune for the year ahead. At Legate, we embrace this occasion not only for business growth but also as an opportunity to give back to the community.
Continuing our yearly tradition, we partnered with Care Corner Centre in Toa Payoh to spend the day with the elderly, bringing smiles, companionship, and festive cheer.
Spreading Joy to the Elderly Community
More than the gifts, it was the time spent together that truly mattered. Seeing the smiles and hearing the stories of the elderly reminded us of the importance of connection, compassion, and presence.
More Than Just a Corporate Initiative
At Legate, we believe that businesses have a role to play beyond providing products and services. By continuing this tradition each year, we hope to make a small but meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Continuing the Tradition of Giving
As we move into the year, we remain committed to making a positive impact not just for our customers but for the wider community as well. This Heng Gang, we welcomed not just prosperity, but also the opportunity to give, connect, and care.
